How to Create Inclusive Spaces in Traditional Music
In this 50-minute session, a panel of four experts will speak about their experiences building inclusive spaces, in-person and online, throughout the American roots music industry and community. As leaders of the Bluegrass Pride movement and within their own industry specialties, the panel will be speaking both about creating diverse spaces from the ground up, and about creating change within existing spaces in order to become more welcoming and inclusive. The session will be split into 35 minutes of panel discussion and 15 minutes of questions: questions may be submitted by the audience during the workshop or ahead of time at hello@bluegrasspride.net.
